If you\'ll excuse the pun, the Louisiana sugar industry has been sweet for this state, and for sure our particular part of it, so it is fitting we celebrate sugar cane and the sugar industry and what it\'s done for us, with this weekend\'s 72nd Louisiana Sugar Cane Festival and Fair.
