The Andersons' profits slip

The Andersons says a slow start to grain harvests and record yields have driven down prices per bushel for the firm. THE BLADE Hurt by lower commodity prices that affected incomes of its grain and ethanol divisions, The Andersons Inc. said Wednesday that its profits decreased just over 2 percent in the third quarter and its quarterly revenues dipped nearly 17 percent.
