The German Church, standing as a dominant and historical fixture at the corner of East Washington Street and German Church Road on the Far East side of Indianapolis, is a somber presence as one travels along the outer fringe of the Town of Cumberland. Outward appearances directed at the building would not indicate anything amiss, yeta the years have not been so kind to this gentle giant that has weathered decades of use.
