NAM announced formation of inSPIRE STEM USA (Supporting Productive Immigration Reform and Education), which aims to address high-skilled jobs crisis and improve U.S. STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education system. Members of this coalition, comprised of businesses, education groups, and other national associations, support 2-pronged solution: improvements in U.S. STEM pipeline and reforms that increase H1B visas and green cards.
