Your Tasks Conceptual design, sizing, verification and validation of thermal control systems according to customer requirements and feasibility in regards to manufacturing, integration, cost, schedule, quality and risk Support of reviews from system to equipment Level and presentation of work results to internal and external customers Technical supervision of thermal hardware subcontractors and support to the subcontractor manager Support to system engineers during design development and implementation of analysis at system and subsystem level Support to project management office with work planning and progress reporting Technical supervision of a team for the thermal control subsystem Performing case by case thermal analysis Your Qualifications Degree in engineering with a major in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering or comparable qualifications Several years of professional experience in space thermal subsystem engineering Experience in the design of thermal control systems and analysis for spacecraft Experience in subcontractor managementIndepth knowledge of ESATANTMS, or a similar thermal analysis software Used to work in an international environment Strong problem solving skills Strong communication and negotiation skills preferably English and German [ more ]
