Based on carbon fiber reinforced PEEK, PPA, PPS, and PEI resin systems, Ultra Performance Structural Compounds are manufactured using compounding techniques that maximize fiber integrity. Injection-moldable thermoplastic materials are available in high-temperature resin systems with carbon fiber reinforcement loadings from 20%–40% to meet range of application requirements in diverse markets. In addition to structural characteristics, other capabilities may be added during compounding.
