Thirst for new cars in Taranaki despite oil and dairy downturn

A downturn in the diary and energy sectors has had little affect on the region's car sales, new figures show. Motor Industry Association chief executive David Crawford said new vehicles registrations in 2015 had only dropped slightly, from 2,572 in 2014 to 2,538 in 2015, which was better than anticipated.
