Offered in zinc plated, blue passivated steel or in stainless steel, DIN 906 and DIN 906-NI Threaded Plugs with Tapered Thread are used to close bore holes with cylindrical tapered internal thread. Tightness depends on medium, pressure, temperature, and material pairing. Available with or without GPC (Precote 5) thread coating, plugs come in metric tapered pipe thread sizes from M8 x 1.0 to M48 x 1.5, as well as BSPT British Standard Pipe Tapered, thread sizes R 1/8 to R 1 1/2.
