The Economic Development Growth Engine for Memphis & Shelby County approved $2.2 million in tax breaks in exchange for commitments to create at least 272 jobs and capital investments of $28 million, as I reported here , here and here . The three companies that won the incentives - FedEx Supply Chain Systems, ACS Clothing Limited and Benchmark Education Co.
