Designed for through-hole threads up to 3.5xD, Prototyp Prototex® Eco Plus is manufactured from HSS-E-PM and can be used on steel, stainless steel, and cast iron as well as such non-ferrous metals as aluminum and copper. Pre-treatment optimizes adhesion of THL hard material coating, increasing performance and tool life, while optimized geometry in chamfer section increases process reliability. Offered in several designs, tool can be supplied with internal cooling and radial coolant outlet.
