Timken to build new $41 million steel plant

The Timken Company will build a new $41 million steel plant in Perry Township to enhance its alloy steel production capacity. The Stark County commissioners on Wednesday approved a tax abatement agreement that equals 60 percent off real property taxes for the next 10 years.
