Tooling U-SME will recognize 5 schools with 2015 Tooling U-SME Platinum Education Center (TUPEC) award, which goes to institutions that enhance professional development of students using online and hands-on training to help develop skilled and qualified future manufacturing workforce. Winners are Blue Ridge (Flat Rock, NC), Cuyahoga (Cleveland, OH), and Edgecombe (Rocky Mount, NC) community colleges as well as Lower Columbia College (Longview, WA) and West Georgia Technical College (Waco, GA).
