Many digital marketers will say that it is challenging enough to produce quality content marketing assets. Doing so in quantity adds whole new layers to the problem. A recent Content Marketing Institute study showed that 54% of B2B marketers said that they were "very challenged" when faced with producing engaging content. Those surveyed listed "creating more engaging content" as a top initiative for 2015.
Too often marketers are trying to solve the quantity of quality issue by reusing exact copies of existing content. The same content on multiple channels just doesn't work and that creates a serious marketing problem.
At this year's Social Media Marketing World (SMMW) in San Diego on March 25-27, TopRank Online Marketing's CEO Lee Odden will offer a solution in his presentation, Repurposing on Purpose: How to Create Personalized Content for Specific Target Audiences.
In his presentation, Lee will share TopRank Marketing's proven philosophy that social media marketers can get more value and quality out of their content investments by repurposing content for specific channels and audiences. With a modular approach to content, individual social content snippets can be used to assemble larger content objects. Alternately, content created for campaigns can be deconstructed into smaller component parts for social media promotions. Lee will demonstrate five repurposing tactics social media marketers can employ now to expand their content at little to no expense.
