Toronto stock market to head lower amid declining oil prices, earnings misses

The Toronto stock market headed for a negative open Tuesday amid lower commodity prices and a heavy slate of earnings reports. New York futures were well into the red as traders considered earnings disappointments from corporate heavyweights including Procter & Gamble, Caterpillar and Pfizer.
