Traffic changes for Sellwood Bridge closure May 13 - 16

Traffic changes are in store for Sellwood Bridge users when the bridge is closed from 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 13 until as late as 4 p.m. on Friday, May 16. The closure will allow a contractor to install 27 pre-cast concrete girders on support columns for the east approach to the new bridge. The girders are up to 109 feet long and weigh up to 75,080 pounds. Some of the delivery trucks are 140 feet long.
