TreeHouse, an Austin sustainable home improvement store, has completed its largest round of financing yet to help kick-start a planned multi-state expansion. The goal: To take on giants such as The Home Depot and Lowe's Companies Inc. in the same manner Whole Foods Market Inc. challenged traditional grocers.
