SUMMARY OF 300 AM MDT...0900 UTC...INFORMATION ---------------------------------------------- LOCATION...15.9N 111.0W ABOUT 490 MI...785 KM S OF THE SOUTHERN TIP OF BAJA CALIFORNIA MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS...30 MPH...45 KM/H PRESENT MOVEMENT...W OR 270 DEGREES AT 7 MPH...11 KM/H MINIMUM CENTRAL PRESSURE...1007 MB...29.74 INCHES WATCHES AND WARNINGS -------------------- There are no coastal watches or warnings in effect. DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 300 AM MDT (0900 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Andres was located near latitude 15.9 North, longitude 111.0 West. The depression is moving toward the west near 7 mph (11 km/h) and this motion is expected to continue during the next couple of days. Maximum sustained winds have decreased to near 30 mph (45 km/h) with higher gusts. Further weakening is forecast, and Andres is expected to become a remnant low later this morning and dissipate late Wednesday night. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1007 mb (29.74 inches).
