DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK ------------------------------ At 800 PM PDT (0300 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Eighteen-E was located near latitude 16.7 North, longitude 120.1 West. The depression is moving toward the north-northwest near 7 mph (11 km/h). A turn toward the north-northeast or northeast is expected on Monday. Maximum sustained winds remain near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Some slight strengthening is forecast during the next day or so, and the depression could become a tropical storm on Monday. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1005 mb (29.68 inches).
