DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 200 PM PDT (2100 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Emilia was located near latitude 18.0 North, longitude 120.0 West. The depression is moving toward the west-northwest near 12 mph (19 km/h), and this motion is expected to continue during the next couple of days. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Emilia is forecast to degenerate into a remnant low tonight. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1004 mb (29.65 inches).
