DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 1100 AM AST (1500 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Omar was located near latitude 37.4 North, longitude 57.3 West. The depression is moving toward the north near 10 mph (17 km/h). A faster north-northeastward or northeastward motion is expected during the next day or two. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Omar is forecast to degenerate into a remnant low by early Sunday, and to dissipate by early Monday. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1010 mb (29.83 inches).
