DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 700 AM PST (1500 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Polo was located near latitude 17.1 North, longitude 120.3 West. Polo is moving toward the west near 12 mph (19 km/h), and this motion is expected to continue through Friday. Maximum sustained winds have decreased to near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Additional weakening is forecast, and Polo is expected to become a remnant low later today. The remnant low is then forecast to dissipate by Friday night.
