THE DEPRESSION IS MOVING TOWARD THE NORTH-NORTHEAST NEAR 7 MPH...11 KM/H ...AND THIS GENERAL MOTION WITH A SLIGHT INCREASE IN FORWARD SPEED IS EXPECTED FOR THE NEXT 24 TO 36 HOURS. MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS HAVE DECREASED TO NEAR 35 MPH...55 KM/H...WITH HIGHER GUSTS. WEAKENING IS FORECAST DURING THE NEXT DAY OR SO...AND SIMON IS EXPECTED TO BECOME A REMNANT LOW BY TONIGHT.
