DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 300 PM MDT (2100 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Twenty-One-E was located near latitude 15.2 North, longitude 113.3 West. The depression is moving toward the west-northwest near 12 mph (19 km/h), and this general motion is expected to continue during the next couple of days. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Some slight strengthening is possible, and the depression could become a tropical storm tonight or Wednesday. Weakening is expected to begin Wednesday night, and the system is forecast to become a remnant low within two to three days. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1007 mb (29.74 inches).
