DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 900 AM CST (1500 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Twenty-One-E was located near latitude 9.2 North, longitude 100.2 West. The depression is moving toward the west near 12 mph (19 km/h). A generally westward motion with a decrease in forward speed is expected through early next week. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. The depression is forecast to become a tropical storm later today or tonight, but no significant intensification is anticipated through early next week. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1006 mb (29.71 inches).
