DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 200 AM PDT (0900 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Kiko was located near latitude 18.8 North, longitude 130.3 West. Kiko is moving toward the north near 2 mph (4 km/h). A slow westward motion is expected to begin later today, followed by a west-southwestward motion through early Monday. Maximum sustained winds are near 65 mph (100 km/h) with higher gusts. Slow weakening is forecast during the next several days. Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 45 miles (75 km) from the center. The estimated minimum central pressure is 997 mb (29.44 inches). HAZARDS AFFECTING LAND ---------------------- None.
