Truckies targeted in bikie drugs crackdown

Police say they are concerned parts of the trucking industry are involved in moving drugs around regional Queensland for outlaw motorcycle gangs. Officers targeted drivers and trucks of interest, particularly in the far north and Gulf region, during a recent operation which saw weapons and drugs seized and almost 50 people charged statewide, including 14 from Cairns, Port Douglas, Karumba and Normanton.
