New Zealand Herald: A Tuvalu family has been granted New Zealand residency after claiming it would be affected by climate change if it returned home. It is the first successful application for residency on humanitarian grounds in which climate change has featured, but the Immigration and Protection Tribunal said the family had strong ties to New Zealand.
