Operating in either direction, Chemineer™ JT-2 Impeller is used after conventional turbines have lost efficiency due to viscous effects and before need for close clearance impellers. Design promotes blending by efficiently moving material in one direction in center of tank and opposite direction on outside of tank. Taking up 70–90% of tank diameter for optimized heat transfer, impeller is suited for polymerizations, food, fermentations, paint, and high solid loading slurries.
