US apparel imports have been relatively flat in the first quarter with China however rebounding thanks to a new fall of its unit prices. Other origins have got very different results depending on product categories as usual, with a rise of unit values resulting in lower sales in volume terms. Our series of statistical tables offer a comprehensive comparison of volume, value and unit value changes per origin and product category in 1st quarter 2017 and 1st quarter 2018. The report also includes a detailed comparison of Chinese price trends vs other origins, through a series of indexes. Unit value changes in percentage terms and market shares per category and per origin are also released. Our full table is available for download.
