U.S. Steel scraps plans to build headquarters at former Civic Arena site

United States Steel Corp. has decided to scrap plans to build a new headquarters at the site of the former Civic Arena in Pittsburgh's Lower Hill District. Last November, it had been announced that the company would build a five-story building to house U.S. Steel's headquarters employees.
