UFCW announces deal with Save Mart

The contract would conclude more than a year of negotiations and would affect approximately 5,500 union members at 110 Save Mart, S-Mart and Lucky stores. The "model" Save Mart contract "provides top wages and the finest health care and pension benefits in the grocery industry," Jacques Loveall , president of UFCW 8-Golden State, said in a statement.
