UGI Energy Services LLC, a subsidiary of energy company UGI Corp., completed two projects that enable the Valley Forge utility's customers in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area to be nearly 100 percent supplied by Marcellus Shale natural gas. The UGI subsidiary has completed its 6-mile, 100,000 dekatherms-per-day Union Dale Pipeline project, which provides transportation for natural gas supplied by Cabot Oil & Gas.
