UK Clothing Imports in January 2020: Origins (Statistical Report)

UK's clothing imports have significantly fallen in January, reflecting a sharp decline in Chinese shipments and a shift to Bangladesh. Imports from the European Union have also experienced significant moves in the Brexit period, depending on origins. Unit prices have fallen from most countries, due to the rise of the Sterling from a year earlier. Our new monthly report covers UK's clothing imports per origin, including knit clothing, woven clothing, and total clothing imports. Data are released in volume, dollars, and pounds, with unit price changes from a year earlier. All data are available for download in three different CSV files. [ more ]
