Blue and Green: Despite pledging to take climate action five G7 countries have increased their coal use in the last five years, according to a report. It is estimated that coal plants in the G7 will cost the world $450 billion (294bn) a year by the end of the century and reduce crops by millions of tonnes. The paper Let Them Eat Coal has been published by Oxfam.
