(Telecompaper) The High Court of Justice in London has ruled that BT infringes one of two valid patents on DSL management technologies held by Assia. The court determined that BT uses Assia's patented DSL management technology in the BT Next Generation Access (NGA) network. Under UK High Court rules, the court will set a schedule for the damages phase of the case. It is not yet clear if BT will seek permission to appeal the ruling.
