BusinessGreen: Renewable electricity generation rose 10 per cent during 2012 to make up 12.3 per cent of the UK's overall mix, government statistics have revealed.
The energy statistics update released yesterday also confirms renewable energy generators produced a total of 12.4 terrawatt hours of power in the first quarter of 2013, up from 11.3TWh in the same period a year ago.
