LUCKNOW: Uttar Pradesh cane mills may up their ethanol production to counter the sugar glut that plunged prices of sugar and pushed state's second largest industry on a brink of a severe financial distress that threatens to show up in the form of mounting cane arrears due towards over 40 lakh cane growers in the state.
