UPS adds 20 countries to Special Commodities program

United Parcel Service Inc. added 20 international destinations to its International Special Commodities program, which lets customers ship biological substances, dangerous goods in excepted quantities and shipments using dry ice. The Atlanta-based package shipping giant said it is trying to meet higher demand from biopharmaceutical manufacturers, diagnostics companies, laboratories and distributors.
