US Apparel Imports in 2015: China vs. Rest of World (Statistical Report)

2016-02-15 15:07:23| EmergingTextiles.com

China's share has slightly declined on the US apparel import market in full 2015. The leading supplier has retained a very strong position, as the surge in Chinese labor costs has been overcome by lower material costs and quality requirements. Buyers have differently behaved depending on categories, as reflected by our statistical review covering the last four years and comparing US apparel imports from China with shipments from Rest of the World (RoW) for every category of products, in volume, value and unit value terms. Historical data are available for 2011-2015.
