2018-08-28 20:24:50| EmergingTextiles.com

US apparel imports have heavily fallen from China in the second quarter with a few low-cost countries benefiting from a return by US buyers to a more diversified portfolio of sources. Bangladesh and Cambodia are primarily taking advantage from the shift in demand. Unit values have risen in most origins in the first half, as reflected by our data series. Our quarterly and annual report details shipments to U.S. market per origin, with volume and value changes, market shares, and unit value variations in the last five years. 1st quarter data covering the 2011-2018 period are available for download.
