US Apparel Imports in 2nd Quarter and 1st Half: Categories (Statistical Report)

US apparel imports have recovered in the first half, whatever the threats of higher tariffs on Chinese products. The US buyers have continued to favor man-made fiber apparel, while imports of cotton apparel were stagnating in volume terms. Wool apparel imports have rebounded in the second quarter, as reflected by our detailed analysis of US apparel imports per category. Our series of statistical tables offer a comprehensive view of volume, value, and unit value changes, compared with previous quarters and years in 2014-19. Full data from the first quarter of 2011 are available for downloading into a large table.
