US Apparel Imports in 4th Quarter and Full 2017: Categories (Statistical Report)

US imports of man-made fiber apparel have less clearly risen in the fourth quarter 2017, possibly meaning the end of the historical shift in US demand from cotton to cheaper products made of synthetic or cellulose fibers. Unit price of MMF apparel have less sharply declined in the fourth quarter, as reflected by our detailed analysis of US apparel imports per category.
