US Q1 in brief - Designer Brands, Vince Holding Corp, The Children's Place

In the latest first-quarter filings from US apparel and footwear brands and retailers, the impact of the global coronavirus pandemic and widespread store closures can be clearly seen. Designer Brands Inc saw sales tumble 44.7%, while PVH Corp has reported an "unprecedented" decline in revenue and earnings. Elsewhere, Guess, Inc has widened its GAAP net loss, and sales at Zumiez have fallen by more than a third.
