US Q1 in brief - J.Jill, Francesca's, Macy's

In the latest first-quarter filings from US apparel and footwear brands and retailers, the impact of the global coronavirus pandemic and widespread store closures can be clearly seen. Francesca's has reported a 50% drop in net sales, while Macy's, Inc has posted a US$3.58bn loss. Elsewhere, while Stein Mart booked a 57% tumble in sales and PVH Corp has reported an "unprecedented" decline in revenue and earnings.
