In the latest second-quarter filings from US apparel and footwear brands and retailers, the impact of the global coronavirus pandemic and widespread store closures can be clearly seen. Foot Locker saw net income tumble by a quarter on last year,�while L Brands�has booked a US$49.6m net loss for the period. Elsewhere, Kohl's posted a 22.9% decline in net sales, while�Target Corp, however, saw total revenue grow by 24.7% in the quarter. [ more ]
