Second-quarter earnings for the retail sector as a whole are forecast to be lower than the prior month, despite easy year-on-year comparisons. Zumiez saw its profit more than halve, Cherokee Global Brands posted a double-digit decline in net income, Christopher & Banks swung to a loss, while Hudson's Bay was back in the black, and Lululemon Athletica lifted its full-year guidance despite a fall in profit.
