US Q3 in brief: Urban Outfitters, Dillard's, JC Penney, Nordstrom

In the most recent third-quarter filings from US apparel brands and retailers, Kate Spade & Co returned to profit, while Columbia Sportswear Co, Sequential Brands and Under Armour lifted their full-year guidance. Nordstrom lowered its full-year outlook, JC Penney narrowed its loss, while Dillard's, Macy's and Urban Outfitters all posted double-digit earnings declines.
