In the most recent third-quarter filings from US apparel and footwear brands and retailers, Under Armour lowered its full-year outlook on a fall in earnings and sales, Amazon booked growth in sales and earnings thanks to its Whole Foods acquisition, while US apparel giant VF Corporation hailed "strong" third-quarter results, despite a drop in profit.
