US Q4 in brief: Aeropostale, J Crew, New York & Co, Shoe Carnival

In the most recent fourth-quarter filings from US apparel brands and retailers, J Crew narrowed its net loss, while New York & Co swung to a fourth-quarter profit, and Shoe Carnival saw its net earnings increase. Cato Corp warned 2016 could be a difficult year, while Aeropostale revealed it is exploring exploring strategic options, which could include a sale or restructuring, after seeing its fourth-quarter net loss widen.
