US defers duty payments on some imports for 90 days

The US is postponing duty payments for goods importers for 90 days in a bid to help them navigate "significant financial hardship" as a result of the coronavirus outbreak, news that will be welcomed by garment and footwear brands and retailers that have had to shut up shop in recent weeks in a bid to curb the spread of the virus.
